Okapi Goes to DC

I went to DC to visit Jocelyn for Spring break.  We had a blast!  Okapi joined us on many of our adventures.

Here is a video that I made for a digital storytelling assignment for my Technology in the School Library class.

That okapi sure isn't camera shy! He looks like he and the two of you had a great time. The blossoms are so gorgeous!

I'm sure this will turn out to be a YouTube viral video! Good job, Andrea. I hope Okapi will make a video of his trip to Puerto Rico.

Question: Which was more fun, touring DC or photographing Okapi touring DC? Perhaps touring DC was more fun BECAUSE you were doing an Okapi photo journal. Sounds like a good time.

Still think Okapi needs to come to San Antonio for a visit - along with at least one of his talented photographers.

Love the adventurous music at the beginning, but was Okapi in on the editing here? All those glam shots by the Lincoln Memorial! I hate to think how long Okapi spent admiring himself in the mirror after that bath...

My professor's comments:

"Your video was a little strange.... :) I do like that you had a theme...but I would like to have learned more about an Okapi during your video. I think that you could have kept the travelogue going while you taught something as well. I looked it up after your video to learn more...very interesting animal."

Ha ha! I guess it's funnier when you have experienced Okapi in real life! I still got 100%, though!
